Our grounds and the wildflowers!

We are so fortunate to have so much grounds at James Hornsby, and we’re trying hard to make sure we use them well for the students, staff and the environment. Here is just a small selection of the wildflowers you can see around the site at the moment.

Letting our grass grow long increases habitats for wildlife, and these wildflowers improve life for many different species of invertebrates, particularly pollinators… and it can bring a great deal of joy to anyone who takes a moment to stop and look.
