GCSE Examination Results 2022
A very successful year for our Class of 2022 this summer.
Since the last official exam results in 2019, Students who achieved a Grades 9-7 in Maths and English doubled and the number of students who achieved Grades 9-4 in both English and Maths increased by over 10%.
- Attainment 8 Score: 3.90
- English Baccalaureate (EBacc) average point score (APS): 3.37
- Percentage of students that enter the English Baccalaureate (EBacc): 38%

44.9 % achieved a standard pass in English and maths (grade 4 or above)

24.0 % achieved a strong pass in English and maths (grade 5 or above)

43.8% achieved 5 standard passes including English and Maths
Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government has said you should not make direct comparisonsbetween the performance data for one school or college and another, or data from previous years.

We also saw students excel in their Option subjects. These include:
Triple Science - 95% Grades 9-5
Child Development – 50% A*-A
Geography- 78% Grades 9-4
Photography- 85% Grades 9-4
Spanish- 77% Grades 9-4
Travel & Tourism 100% Distinction * - Pass
KS4 Student Destinations
The percentage of pupils staying in education or employment for at least 2 terms after key stage 4 is:
- 94% in 2021
- 92% in 2019
