Absence Reporting

If your child is absent from school you should telephone the school absence line as early as possible.

You will receive a text or a phone call from school if we have not heard from you.

At The James Hornsby School Attendance and Punctuality are high priority. If pupils attendance is poor it will effect their ability to achieve their full potential. It is for that reason that we insist that students attend every available session. If students attendance falls below this target it will effect their ability to attend extra curricular activities such as trips.

Lesson 1 starts at 8.40am, to enable a prompt start students are expected to be in school by 8.30am every day.
